Mars rover's record-breaking road trip
NASA's Perseverance rover just clocked over 28 miles of driving on Mars, setting a new distance record for any vehicle rolling across another world. We couldn't resist imagining it as the ultimate cosmic road-tripper, kicking up red dust and waving a little victory ribbon past the mile markers.
Celebrating NASA's Perseverance rover and its record-setting Mars drive with a playful cosmic road-trip image—dust trails, victory ribbons, and butterscotch ski
The prompt behind it
"A plucky six-wheeled Mars rover cruising across rolling rust-orange dunes like a champion on a cross-country road trip, tiny cartoon dust trail swirling behind its wheels, a whimsical hand-painted '28 MILES AND COUNTING' mile marker sign planted in the regolith, a jaunty checkered victory ribbon fluttering from its camera mast, distant layered Martian mesas glowing under a butterscotch sky with a small pale sun, two little moons peeking overhead, cinematic golden-hour lighting, warm coral and amber palette with teal shadow accents, playful Pixar-meets-NASA aesthetic, ultra-detailed, low wide-angle hero composition conveying motion and triumph"
