northern lights sweeping across the US this weekend
Space weather forecasters say a surge of solar activity could paint the northern lights across unusually southern parts of the US this weekend. We imagined whole neighborhoods tumbling out of bed in their pajamas to catch the free light show — cocoa optional, wonder guaranteed.
The aurora may dance across US skies this weekend! Today's Maginary hero imagines whole towns tumbling outside in pajamas to catch the dazzling northern lights.
The prompt behind it
"A whimsical cinematic wide shot of a cozy small-town neighborhood at midnight, families in pajamas and puffy jackets spilling onto porches and rooftops, pointing in wonder at a breathtaking aurora borealis rippling overhead in luminous ribbons of emerald, teal, magenta, and violet. The sky swirls like liquid silk, reflected in a glassy lake and on dewy rooftops. A kid holds a mug of cocoa, a dog gazes up, a couple shares a blanket on a porch swing. Crisp autumn air, scattered golden leaves, warm window glow contrasting the cool electric sky. Dreamy long-exposure star trails, soft volumetric light, rich saturated colors, storybook magical realism, high production value, sense of shared awe and delight."
