microscopic amoeba enjoying a hot-spring spa day
Scientists just described a 'really unique' amoeba thriving in the scalding waters of California's hot springs — a microbe that treats boiling minerals like a warm bath. We imagined this tiny extremophile finally getting the spa day it deserves.
Inspired by a newly found extremophile amoeba thriving in California's hot springs, today's hero art gives this tiny microbe the cozy geothermal spa day it dese
The prompt behind it
"A whimsical macro-cinematic scene of a single translucent amoeba luxuriating like a spa guest in a steaming turquoise hot spring, its jelly-like membrane glowing with iridescent blues and golds, tiny bubble-slippers, a folded lily-pad towel draped over one pseudopod, a cucumber slice resting on top, wisps of mineral steam curling into warm amber light. Surrounding volcanic rock terraces shimmer with copper and teal mineral deposits, soft bokeh of geothermal sparkles in the background, dreamy shallow depth of field, gentle golden-hour glow, high production value, playful and cozy mood, ultra-detailed painterly realism with a touch of Pixar charm."
