Northern Lights surprise over the northern states
Space-weather forecasters say a burst of solar activity could send the Northern Lights dancing over as many as 11 U.S. states this Monday night — much farther south than usual. We couldn't resist imagining lakeside stargazers stumbling onto the light show of a lifetime, cocoa in hand.
